Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website operated by Sweepers Australia
("we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using our website, submitting an enquiry or lead form, or booking a service where available, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website.
These Terms apply in addition to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
2. Website purpose
Our website provides general information about our business and services and allows you to submit enquiries, request quotes or information, and (where offered) make bookings. Content is provided for general information only unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.
3. Enquiries, quotes & lead forms
- When you submit a contact form, lead form, or similar enquiry (including via integrated forms such as Fillout), you request that we contact you about your request. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
- Submitting a form does not guarantee that we will provide a quote, service, or response within any particular timeframe. We may decline or prioritise enquiries at our discretion, subject to applicable law.
- Any estimate or indicative pricing given before a formal written agreement is not binding unless we confirm it in writing.
4. Bookings
If you book an appointment or service through a third-party booking system linked from our website, that booking may be subject to the third party’s terms and policies as well as ours. We are not responsible for failures or acts of the booking provider except where required by law.
5. Marketing communications
Where you have opted in, we may send you newsletters or promotional emails. You may unsubscribe at any time using the link in those emails. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) for commercial electronic messages.
6. Third-party services & links
Our website may rely on or link to third-party services (including analytics, advertising, form providers such as Fillout, booking tools, and embedded content). Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, we own or license the content on this website (including text, graphics, logos, and layout). You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, scrape, redistribute, or exploit our content without our prior written consent, except as permitted by law.
8. No professional advice
Information on this website is general in nature and is not professional, legal, financial, or other tailored advice. You should obtain your own advice before relying on website content for important decisions.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for loss or damage arising from your use of our website, including from interruptions, errors, or harmful content, except where liability cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or other applicable legislation.
Where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless against claims, losses, or costs arising from your misuse of our website, breach of these Terms, or violation of third-party rights, except to the extent caused by our negligence or breach.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will apply from the time they are posted on this page. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Contact

14. Online store — sale of goods & services
Where our website offers goods or services for sale, the following additional terms apply to your purchase. If there is any inconsistency between these online-store terms and the general terms above, these online-store terms apply to your purchase.
15. Orders & contract formation
- Placing an order on our website is an offer by you to purchase the selected goods or services on these terms. The order confirmation email we send immediately after checkout acknowledges receipt of your order — it does not, by itself, mean we have accepted it.
- A binding contract is formed when we accept your order. We typically do this by dispatching the goods (or commencing the service) and sending a dispatch/shipping confirmation. Until then we may decline or cancel the order for any lawful reason — including stock unavailability, a suspected fraudulent order, a pricing or product-description error, or our inability to deliver to your address.
- If we cancel an order you have already paid for, we will refund the amount you paid using the original payment method.
16. Pricing, GST & currency
- Unless stated otherwise, prices shown on the website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and, where applicable, include GST.
- Shipping, handling and any payment-surcharge fees are shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
- We try to ensure prices are correct, but occasional errors occur. If we discover a clear pricing or product-description error after you place an order, we will contact you to either confirm the corrected price (which you may accept or decline) or cancel the order and refund any amount you have paid.
- Prices and product availability may change at any time without notice. Changes do not affect orders we have already accepted.
17. Stock & availability
Stock information shown on the website is indicative. If an item is unavailable after you order it, we may offer you a back-order, a substitute item, a partial fulfilment, or a full refund of the affected item. You may choose which option you prefer where we offer a choice.
18. Payment
- Payment is required in full at checkout, except where we expressly offer a buy-now-pay-later or deposit option.
- Payments are processed by third-party PCI-DSS-compliant providers (such as Stripe, PayPal, Square or similar). We do not store your full card number or CVV. Your use of a payment provider is subject to that provider's own terms.
- We may decline a payment or order where our payment processor flags it as high risk, where the billing details cannot be verified, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
19. Shipping, delivery & risk
- Delivery times shown on the website or at checkout are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, customs, weather, or events outside our reasonable control are not our responsibility.
- You are responsible for providing a correct delivery address. If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect or incomplete address, you may be charged for re-delivery.
- Title to the goods passes to you on full payment. Risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you when the goods are delivered to the address you provided, or to a person at that address, or where you have authorised the carrier to leave the parcel without signature, when the carrier leaves the parcel at that address.
20. Returns, refunds & exchanges (Australian Consumer Law)
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
If you change your mind, we may at our discretion offer a refund, store credit or exchange, subject to the goods being returned unused, in their original condition and packaging, within the period stated in our Returns Policy (if any). Change-of-mind return shipping is at your cost unless we say otherwise.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable period for your bank or payment provider to credit the refund to your account.
21. Promotions, coupons & discount codes
- Discount codes and promotional offers are subject to the specific terms shown with the offer. Unless stated otherwise, codes are single-use per customer, cannot be combined with other offers, have no cash value, and may be withdrawn or amended at any time.
- We may cancel an order that we reasonably consider involves misuse of a discount code, including codes used outside their intended scope or in breach of these terms.
22. Customer accounts
- You may need to create an account to place an order or access certain features. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation. We may suspend or close an account that we reasonably believe is being misused or that has materially breached these terms.
23. Product descriptions, images & user content
- We take reasonable care to describe and depict products accurately. Colours, finishes and small details shown in images are indicative — actual products may vary slightly due to monitor calibration, photography, batch variation, and natural materials.
- If you submit a product review, rating, photo or other content to the store, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, edit and display that content in connection with the store and our marketing. You must own (or have permission to license) the content, and it must not be misleading, defamatory, infringing or unlawful. We may remove user content at our discretion.
24. Limitation specific to online sales
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and without limiting the general Limitation of Liability clause above, our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order is limited (at our option) to resupplying the goods or services, or refunding the price you paid for them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be limited.
